Job Description

We seek a strategic finance leader to drive growth and improvement across our global organization. This role combines financial management with analytical expertise, requiring someone who can deliver results while driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits of internal financial controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage all accounting related issues to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Monitor financial details to ensure legal requirements are met and risks are mitigated.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting and budgeting processes to support business decision-making.
  • Review company financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Control income, cash flow, and expenditure to maximize financial returns.
  • Produce financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, and other key performance indicators.
  • Develop strategies to minimize financial risk and maximize returns on investment.
  • Oversee the procurement, stock/inventory, and debtors/creditors processes to ensure efficient and effective management.
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and filing obligations.

Commercial Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily sales reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Represent Finance within the Commercial team to integrate business planning, accounting, and control into decision-making processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to drive process improvements and innovation.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
  • Benchmarking analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare business cases to support investment decisions.

Person Specification:

  • Strong English language skills.
  • Qualified accountant with relevant experience.
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical experience preferable.
  • International company experience.
  • Management experience to include liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
  • Self-disciplined, results-focused with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to work to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Power BI and CRM systems.
