Job Description

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to lead the design strategy and user experience of our platform. As the voice of the user, you will create and validate wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that bring simplicity, trust, and impact to digital experiences.

You will conduct user research, usability testing, and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and delightful interfaces that drive adoption, retention, and empowerment.

  • Owns the design strategy and quarterly UX roadmap aligned to business and product goals.
  • Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Miro.
  • Define and maintain design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual and functional consistency.
  • Partner with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct end-to-end user research: interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing with users.
  • Translate feedback into actionable design improvements, balancing usability, accessibility, and technical feasibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5–8 years in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years designing for mobile-first products at scale.
  • Proven experience shipping rural customer-facing or mass-market apps with measurable adoption and engagement impact.
  • Hands-on experience conducting field research and usability testing with diverse user groups.

CORE SKILLS:

  • Expertise in Figma / Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.
  • Strong command of information architecture, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.
  • User research, usability testing, A/B testing, and iterative design practices.
