As a senior electrical engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and execution of power systems projects. This role involves developing system models, protective relay settings, coordinating with clients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Design & Coordination: You will coordinate project design assignments and work with design teams to create scope of work documents, conceptual designs, and execution plans.
  • System Analysis & Modeling: Develop electrical system models, including grounding, load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash analysis.
  • Electrical Deliverables: Create key electrical documents like one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment layouts for new or modified power systems.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Assist in creating equipment specifications and procurement packages. Review vendor drawings and participate in factory acceptance testing.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Meet regularly with and correspond with clients and outside personnel.
Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Experience: 1-4 years of related experience. Experience in power generating facilities, process facilities, or large industrial facilities is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Design types such as medium voltage, low voltage, lighting, grounding, and protective relaying.
  • Proficiency in software like SKM Power Tools, ETAP, SmartPlant, or CDEGS is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a proven capacity to work effectively in a team.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to the United States as needed for project support.
