Memory Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Memory Design Engineer to spearhead the development of innovative memory solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated professional with hands-on experience in full custom memory design and architectures.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, characterizing, and verifying SRAM designs at the compiler level. Proficiency in physical verification flow debugging (DRC, LVS, DFM, PERC, ERC, EM, IR) is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize memory layouts for advanced nodes (TSMC: 7nm/5nm/3nm)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery
  • Perform detailed and optimized physical layout for memory cells, arrays, and peripheral circuits using tools like Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Compiler
  • Optimize layouts for yield enhancement and manufacturing robustness
  • Debug silicon failures and identify layout-related issues

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in memory design
  • Expertise in working on FinFET architecture and challenges such as variability and manufacturability
  • Knowledge of Synopsys Custom Compiler is a huge plus
