Ripik.ai is a rapidly growing industrial AI software-as-a-service start-up founded by alumni from top Indian institutes, such as IIT D and BITS. The company boasts extensive experience in renowned organizations like McKinsey, IBM, Google, and others.
We are backed by prominent venture capital funds, including Accel and Venture Highway, as well as illustrious angel investors with connections to 14 unicorn founders. Ripik.ai develops patented full-stack software for automation of decision-making on the factory floor. Our solutions are currently deployed at over 15 leading enterprises in India across various sectors, including steel, aluminum, cement, pharma, paints, and consumer goods.
Ripik.ai stands out as one of India's few AI product start-ups to be partnered with GCP, Azure, and AWS. We are also the preferred AI partner for organizations like CII, ICC, and NASSCOM. With rapid growth, our team is looking for exceptional individuals to join us.
About the Role
- You will work on cutting-edge AI applications to address complex business challenges and deliver significant value to multiple clients. As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with consultants, data scientists, and data engineers to lead project teams in designing impactful solutions, driving adoption, and articulating value.
- On a typical day, you may engage in:
- Critical problem-solving: Lead a team of 5-10 data scientists to overcome hurdles and achieve goals.
- Mentorship: Coach and empower data scientists to build accurate models.
- User interaction: Collaborate with users, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure models meet expectations.
- Problem anticipation: Identify potential issues and solve them proactively.
- Project management: Program manage 5-10 delivery situations simultaneously.
- Innovation: Adopt a non-compromising approach to client success through innovative AI/ML techniques.
- Collaboration: Work with SWEs to obtain data, perform ETL, and deploy models.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Science Lead in a similar position.
- Hands-on experience in computer vision.
- Familiarity with DS/ML/AI techniques, including model tuning and interpretation from a business perspective.
- Strong programming skills in Python, along with expertise in libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras, and pycaret.
- Prior experience in industries like Auto/Consumer Goods/Retail/Manufacturing/Pharma is preferable.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
