Senior Accounting Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting standards, taxation laws, and financial controls. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing support to the Finance team and other internal departments with complex accounting matters.
  • Protecting the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliations and financial reporting.
Financial Operations
  • Overseeing daily accounting operations, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
  • Ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing.
  • Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
Taxation Compliance
  • Preparing and filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.).
  • Handling TDS/TCS compliance and return filings.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely filing of Professional Tax (PT) and Provident Fund (PF) returns.
Financial Reporting & Budgeting
  • Preparing monthly MIS reports, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets.
  • Developing monthly budgets in coordination with business requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Banking & Treasury Management
  • Reconciling bank accounts and managing banking transactions.
  • Processing payroll disbursements, vendor payments, and statutory dues.
Additional Accountant Responsibilities
  • Liaising with external auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
  • Driving process improvements and enhancing internal financial controls.
