Cloud Architect Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to join our team and contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and efficient cloud architectures on the AWS platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing cloud design patterns and architecture frameworks required for project implementation.
  • Defining architecture standards for the development team and encouraging best practices.
  • Translating design into implementable patterns for the DevOps engineering team.
  • Serving as the single point of contact for technical delivery related to projects.
  • Providing technical thought leadership on solution decisions, technical issues, and internal organizational initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the industry with good exposure to Cloud, DevOps, and Automation.
  • 4+ years of experience in designing and architecting public/private clouds, preferably on AWS.
  • Certification in Solutions Architect Professional and/or Specialty in AWS.
  • Good knowledge of core infrastructure domains like Networking, Compute, Security, Backup, and Monitoring.
  • Proficiency in one or more IaC tools, such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, including Shell, Python, Ruby, Golang, PowerShell, etc.
  • Specialist in one or more CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Proficiency in various Cloud security tools and their usage.
