About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and deploying cloud-based systems for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy cloud-based systems using OpenShift and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Develop proficiency in Ericsson NFVI products such as HDS, SDI, SDN, CEE, ECCD, and CNIS.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept projects in emerging areas like 5G, IoT, Edge NFVI, and Distributed Cloud.
  • Work closely with our integration and verification team to ensure smooth deployment of cloud-based systems.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, and containerization.
  • Proven experience in application containerization management with OpenShift.
  • At least 6 years of total experience with minimum 1 year hands-on experience with OpenShift on bare-metal deployment.
  • Experience administering and supporting Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform ecosystem in both public and private clouds.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and passion for problem-solving and investigation.
  • Experience working with infrastructure automation products such as Ansible.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Unix/Linux administration, security, and IP networking.
