Job Overview

As a Senior Associate Credit, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating credit risk to support underwriting decisions. You will work closely with the US lending team to ensure timely and efficient deal execution.

About the Role

Our ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of relevant credit experience, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a solid foundation in credit fundamentals. They will also possess strong writing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with financial analysis tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Analysis: Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and draft clear, accurate, and well-supported credit memos for transactions.
  • Loan Term Sheets: Prepare, review, and analyze loan term sheets to ensure they meet our lending criteria.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial and credit analysis to support underwriting decisions and identify potential risks.
  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying and assessing risks, and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Deal Execution: Collaborate with the US lending team to ensure timely and efficient deal execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7-8 years of credit analysis/underwriting experience with financial institutions, lenders, or investment managers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in credit fundamentals.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to prepare professional reports and memos.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Experience with financial modeling and real estate debt is highly preferred.

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Work from home based in India.
  • Must align with US Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.
