**Job Title:** Senior Accounting Professional

Seeking an accomplished and experienced Senior Accounting Professional to spearhead our accounting operations.

  • Lead a team of accountants/bookkeepers to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with Fair Work regulations and Superannuation requirements.
  • Prepare and lodge statutory reports as per ATO requirements.
  • Evaluate and implement operational reporting systems to improve financial visibility.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage both teams and client expectations.

**Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  2. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with the management team to develop business strategies and goals.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior accounting roles, preferably in Australian accounting environments.
  • Expertise in Australian accounting standards, payroll, and operations management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
