These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products.

About the Role
You will be accountable for the quality of your work and subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. You will execute tasks within a well-defined operations framework, following a step-by-step sequence of standard operational tasks to achieve an end result.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience, understanding how your team's work contributes to the area.* Resolve issues using established procedures, consulting supervisors or senior team members for issues outside defined instructions/parameters.* Collaborate with others to solve issues, developing strong customer relationships and serving as the interface between customer and GE.* Document, plan, market, and execute programs, applying technical analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound and BMD.* Guide and advise others on matters related to field services engineering, being sought by others for expertise.* Manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering, ensuring that all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial) are executed efficiently and effectively.* Participate in the development of conceptual knowledge of professional discipline, supporting roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad areas.* Develop and implement programs to improve efficiency and effectiveness in field services, leveraging your expertise and experience.* Contribute to the growth and development of your team, mentoring and guiding junior engineers.* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in field services engineering, attending training sessions and conferences to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
* Qualified to degree level in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.* 4+ years of experience in field services engineering.* Comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound and BMD.* Strong oral and written communication skills.* Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.* Familiarity with GE HealthCare's systems and processes.
