Subject Expertise Manager Opportunity

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of subject matter experts and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality assessments.

  • Develop and maintain question banks in various domains/subjects.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to develop content, including multiple-choice questions in general knowledge and current affairs.
  • Design tests in subjects of expertise and coordinate with SMEs to finalize test designs in other domains/subjects.

We are seeking someone with strong leadership skills and experience in managing subject matter experts. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a broad understanding of the education system.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage question banks: Develop structure and design quality standards for item writing and review in respective domains.
  • Track inventory and maintain optimal levels of item availability in assigned non-STEM domains/subjects.
  • Manage subject matter experts: Define selection criteria and strategy. Monitor SME performance quality. Train and develop SME pools in different domains/subjects.
  • Collaborate extensively with SMEs for all test development activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Subject competency in school subjects up to the 12th level as per NCERT syllabus.
  • Broad understanding of the country's education system and NCERT/CBSE/Boards.
  • Experience working in the education sector related to assessment and evaluation, including test designs/blueprints and question development.
  • Good command over English, both written and spoken.
  • Good command over spoken Hindi.

 

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency required in at least one of the following skills: General knowledge, current affairs.
