Software Architect Position

We are seeking an experienced senior software architect to lead the design and development of our automotive SoC systems.

  • Develop a comprehensive software framework for automotive SoC systems, considering performance, power efficiency, and safety-critical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software architecture with hardware design and automotive standards.
  • Lead the development of software components and modules for automotive SoC platforms.
  • Implement software solutions in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262.
  • Optimize software performance for real-time constraints and resource efficiency.
  • Conduct performance analysis and propose enhancements to meet automotive industry standards.
  • Support Intellectual Property activities and generate Invention Disclosure Memos to facilitate patent applications.
  • Participate in design reviews across algorithm teams.
  • Explore next-generation algorithms and new business opportunities.
  • Develop algorithms for implementation on embedded DSP platforms.
  • Represent the company at various Industry Working Groups and Conferences where directed.
  • Support the design and implementation of in-company training sessions in your area of expertise.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with university counterparts.
  • Pursue professional growth in automotive vision-based ADAS, Computer Vision, and C++.
  • Identify inefficiencies and suggest/implement improvements within current processes used in algorithm and development.
  • Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and image processing algorithms for autonomous driving applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce engineering discipline solutions.
  • Support engineering discipline design review.
  • Manage links between engineering disciplines and request support as needed.
  • Capitalize knowledge through standardization, specifications, technical reports, processes, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong C, C++ programming skills or rapid prototyping experience in Enterprise Architect for Modeling, and familiarity with Doors.
  • Good understanding of fundamental computer vision algorithms and approaches.
  • Excellent English language communication skills.
  • High level of innovation and motivation.
  • Excellent research experience.
  • Familiarity with automotive software standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and communication protocols like CAN, Ethernet.
  • Experience with QNX/Safertos, freeRTOS.
