Job Description

As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data models using LookML.

You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

Your primary goal will be to create a single source of truth for our clients' data by translating raw data into a well-structured and reusable data layer.

This involves creating powerful dashboards and reports in Looker that help our clients make informed decisions.

You will also be responsible for connecting to various data sources such as BigQuery and Azure SQL, defining relationships and data transformations within LookML, and troubleshooting and optimizing LookML code and Looker queries for performance and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling principles and experience with various data sources.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage tasks effectively.
