As a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to design, deploy, and manage our cloud-based systems, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, containers, and storage solutions
  • Monitor resource utilization and optimize configurations for performance and cost
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs
  • Set up monitoring and logging to track the performance and health of cloud resources
  • Configure logging and auditing to maintain a record of activities for security and compliance purposes
  • Failover management: Set up load balancers and server farms in the most cost-effective manner
  • Automation and scripting: Use automation tools & scripts to automate the provisioning and management of resources
  • Cost management: Monitor and control cloud costs, optimizing resource usage for efficiency
  • Implement cost allocation and budgeting strategies
  • Version control: Implement version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage source code
  • Containerization and orchestration: Knowledge of containerization platforms (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 4 years Linux administration experience & cloud operations role
  • Minimum of 2 years working with Apache HTTP Server
  • Minimum of 2 years on MySQL Performance Optimization
  • Experience with scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python, etc.) and automation (CI/CD Tools) is a must
  • Complete understanding of cron jobs, user management, server logs, DNS configurations, SSL Certificates, and mail servers troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including documentation
