Role Overview

This is not a typical internship. As a Finance & Growth Intern, you will act as a co-pilot to our founder, managing core finance operations, ensuring financial discipline, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

You'll take ownership of everything from bookkeeping to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) while also shadowing the founder on growth, business strategy, and investor-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, bills receivable/payable tracking, and invoice management.
  • Prepare GST filings, tax return filings, and other statutory compliances as applicable.
  • Cash flow management and cost optimization tracking.
  • Financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
  • Expense reporting, reconciliations, and building scalable financial systems.
  • Shadow the founder in high-level meetings, fundraising conversations, and strategy discussions.
  • Support in market analysis, pricing strategy, and business growth initiatives.
  • Create board-level decks, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards.
  • Analyze KPIs, cost structures, and growth levers using Google Sheets/Excel and Power BI or similar tools.
Requirements
  • CA Inter/CS/MBA Finance or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on expertise in bookkeeping, compliance, and FP&A.
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel financial modeling, pivot tables, macros, etc.
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools is a strong advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable with early-stage startup chaos.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to learn and grow rapidly.
