Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Freelance QA Automation Engineer with in-depth knowledge of the Karate Framework to lead our automation efforts.

  • To be successful in this role, you will need to develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate Framework for UI and API testing.

  • You will also design reusable, modular, and scalable automation frameworks that integrate seamlessly with our existing infrastructure.

  • Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test coverage.

  • Another critical aspect of this role is executing and analyzing test results, identifying and reporting defects, and providing detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and execution reports.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps is essential, as well as experience with Java, JavaScript, or related programming languages.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of hands-on experience with the Karate Framework for both API and UI automation is mandatory.

  • You should have a solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML, as well as familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira and TestRail.

  • Additionally, you will need to have knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, although exposure to these is not strictly necessary.

  • A strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail are crucial in this role, as is excellent communication and collaboration skills.
