Automation Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to develop and implement quality verification systems for software tools and platforms.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Create functional and performance test plans and cases for internal and external-facing software systems.
  • Drive improvements in software engineering practices across teams.
  • Design and build tools and frameworks for automated testing.

Candidate Profile

  • 5–9 years of experience in QA/Automation with 3+ years hands-on Cypress (JS/TS).
  • Strong proficiency with POM, data-driven tests, custom commands, intercepts, stubs/mocks, and handling dynamic elements/retries.
  • Solid TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals (modules, async/await, promises).
  • Proven CI/CD experience (any of: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) with artifacts and parallelization.
  • Experience with API testing (Cypress request flows), JSON assertions, schema/contract validation.
  • Comfortable with git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser platforms like BrowserStack.
  • Clear, concise communication skills; able to turn ambiguous requirements into testable scenarios.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with BDD using Cucumber/Cypress and Allure/Mochawesome dashboards.
  • Knowledge of Node.js scripting for test data and utilities.
  • Dockerized test execution and basic Kubernetes familiarity.
  • Performance basics and accessibility tooling.
  • SQL basics for test verification.
