Project Closeout Specialist

Job Description:

This role is responsible for overseeing the closeout process across various project stages. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of project documentation and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate, manage, and coordinate all steps necessary for project closeout, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines.
  • Maintain and update project data in designated planning tools while collaborating with project controls team members to verify information accuracy and integrity.
  • Oversee the return of confirmed surplus materials through the RMA process, ensuring proper recording in warehouse and PeopleSoft.
  • Maintain regular communication with Video Quality Auditor and Project Controls team to facilitate accurate true-up and turnover documentation.
  • Assist scoping team in promoting RFDS for scopes without drone inspections and serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delivering SAQ CADs to quality team.
  • Review subcontractor material purchase order requests for potential cost recovery and forward to scoping team as necessary.
  • Own final turnover package, including reviewing turnover deliverables submitted by General Contractor and following up on minor corrections or rejections.
  • Act as approver for closeout processes in PeopleSoft and manage associated JVizion tasks and data fields.
