Senior Network Engineer-IV Opportunity

The role of Senior Network Engineer-IV involves the design, planning, and implementation of our local area network (LAN) and/or global wide area network (WAN). We are seeking an expert to join our highly skilled network engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop feasibility studies for design requirements
  • Perform vendor recommendations and coordinate hardware testing and installations
  • Examine theoretical and implemented designs for deficiencies and facilitate corrections
Build:
  • Prepare maintenance plan documentation & change management
  • Review maintenance plans for accuracy
  • Script maintenance implementations
Improvements:
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedure's (SOP's) & Method of Procedure's (MOP's)
  • Develop network standardization practices
  • Document informational content for specialized network designs to be used for training needs
Additional:
  • Act as 4th level escalations POC for design or other related problems
  • Conduct provider testing / deployment of new services
  • Monitor capacity and plan for bandwidth additions

Requirements:

  • Expert level experience working with MPLS, BGP, LDP, QoS, IPv6, OSPF, vPC, STP, DWDM, EVPN, L2VPN, MPLS VPN, L3VPN, FHRP, VLAN, CDP, port-channels, IS-IS, MPLS Inter-AS, VXLAN, DNS, ACL, RADb, Flowspec, RTBH, GitHub, API's, NFV, Hypervisors, virtual switching
  • Multi-vendor experience working with Cisco IOS, ASR 1k (IOS-XE), ASR NCS (IOS-XR), Nexus (NX-OS), Arista (EOS), Junos
  • Industry recognized certifications: CCNA required, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP preferred, CCIE (R&S, SP or DC) highly preferred (or equivalent experience), Python PCEP
  • Minimum 7-10 years recent experience with network design and build-out of LAN/WAN's and/or large-scale network retrofits and remediation's
  • Experience working in service provider, datacenter/hosting environment or large-scale enterprise networks
