Software Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Management Software Solutions: Develop, design, and implement network management software using Java.
  • Integration and Communication: Integrate network management solutions with various network devices, protocols, and systems. Utilize APIs, SNMP, and other network protocols for data exchange.
  • Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting: Optimize network management applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Diagnose and resolve issues related to network management software.
  • Documentation and Testing: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and code comments. Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure software quality.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and development teams to ensure software solutions meet business and technical requirements. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in network management and Java technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on network management or related fields. Experience with network protocols and management systems is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SNMP, HTTP). Experience with network management tools and technologies (e.g., NetFlow, Wireshark).
