Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Databases Infrastructure Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our database infrastructure.

  • Work closely with application teams to integrate solutions seamlessly with our database systems.
  • Analyze solutions and implement best practices for supported datastores (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Develop and enforce best practices for database security, backup, and recovery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 4-8 years of experience running MySQL/PostgreSQL databases in large environments. You should also have knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), internals of MySQL/PostgreSQL, load balancing solutions like ProxySQL, and tools for monitoring database performance.

  • Awareness of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
  • Knowledge of the internals of MySQL/PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of load balancing solutions such as ProxySQL
  • Knowledge of tools and methods for monitoring database performance
