Senior Backend Engineer Job Description

This job opportunity is ideal for a seasoned backend engineer with extensive experience in building and running infrastructure, platforms, highly scalable databases, and database infrastructure. We are seeking an individual who has a solid understanding of the Linux operating system, concepts such as virtual machines and containers.

The successful candidate will have experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their managed database services (e.g., RDS, Amazon Aurora, Elasticache). They will also be knowledgeable in software development using Java and deep hands-on experience with Kafka.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining controllers, using Terraform for infrastructure as code frameworks, and working with Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and a passion for growth and collaboration.
