Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our organization.

Key Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working for a public accounting firm is essential.
  • In addition, 3+ years of experience in a senior or supervisor role at a public accounting firm is required.
  • The ideal candidate will also have 5+ years of audit experience.
  • A Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant License is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are crucial for success in this role.
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to pivot when necessary to meet client deadlines in a timely manner is also essential.
  • Familiarity and experience with CCH ProSystem Fx Engagement software for audit/review engagements and CCH ProSystem Fx Tax software for tax return preparation is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
Main Responsibilities
  • Audit and Review Engagement Management: Plan and execute engagements from start through completion, including testing and analytical procedures, preparation of all work paper documentation, and leading teams.
  • Preparation of Tax Returns: Input tax returns for clients in tax software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Issue Draft Financial Statements and Draft Tax Returns: Take full responsibility for the preparation of deliverables to clients, including financial statements and tax returns.
  • Client Liaison: Build strong relationships with clients, communicate effectively to obtain required financial/tax documents, and ensure engagement deliverables are complete and accurate.
