Job Opportunity: SCM Consultant with Expertise in Sourcing and Procurement Strategy

We seek an experienced professional to fill the role of SCM Consultant, focusing on sourcing and procurement strategy development. As part of our team, you will be responsible for creating compelling proposals, conducting due diligence assessments, and driving solution design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with customer needs.
  • Create tailored responses to RFPs/RFIs, articulating value-driven proposals that meet client objectives.
  • Present and defend solutions effectively during client discussions, ensuring a deep understanding of supply chain service offerings.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions and provide ongoing support during handover.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and training initiatives, including the development of training modules.
  • Represent the organization in analyst interactions, enhancing brand value and positioning.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and market developments, showcasing thought leadership in the field.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8–15 years of experience in presales/solutioning roles within Supply Chain (Sourcing & Procurement).
  • Graduate or postgraduate degree with specialization in Supply Chain Management or related fields.
  • Strong background in solution design, deal structuring, and implementation of large SCM engagements.
  • Good understanding of direct and indirect sourcing categories across industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Energy & Resources, Hi-Tech, Retail, CPG, Travel & Hospitality, etc.
  • Experience in outcome-based/gain-share solution models.
  • Familiarity with leading SCM tools such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Ariba, Coupa.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio.
