Data Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience with GCP data services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub. They will also have strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, including SQL, Snowpipe, Streams, and data sharing.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake using GCP services such as Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer/Airflow, and Pub/Sub.
  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using GCP data services.
  • Maintain and optimize existing data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in GCP data engineering.
  • Proficiency in GCP data services, including Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, including SQL, Snowpipe, Streams, and data sharing.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT principles, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python or Java.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
