Project Manager - PMO

About the Position:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager - PMO to support project governance, resource management, and portfolio oversight.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management, a solid understanding of methodologies, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Governance & Oversight:
    • Establish and implement project management standards, processes, and methodologies.
    • Ensure adherence to best practices across all projects.
    • Monitor project progress, performance, and compliance with governance frameworks.
    • Provide guidance and support to project managers and teams.
  • Resource Allocation:
    • Effectively allocate and manage resources across projects.
    • Resolve resource conflicts and manage interdependencies.
    • Conduct capacity planning and forecasting.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    • Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
    • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to leadership.
    • Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and reviews.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
    • Develop and implement risk strategies and contingency plans.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards.
    • Conduct quality reviews, compliance checks, and audits.
  • Portfolio Management:
    • Manage the overall project portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Prioritize initiatives based on business goals, impact, and resource availability.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive process improvements within the project framework.
    • Implement lessons learned from completed projects.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and learning.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure business alignment.
    • Support change management activities related to project execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong academic record required.
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within a PMO function.
  • Mandatory experience in managing cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
