Job Description:

As Chief Security Officer, you'll establish and maintain the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to protect information assets and technologies against threats. You'll lead efforts to safeguard our systems, networks, and data while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee security architectures, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Lead security awareness and training programs to foster a culture of security awareness.
  • Direct the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks across all aspects of operations.
  • Monitor and analyse security incidents and coordinate incident response activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into business processes and systems development life cycles.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and assess their potential impact on our security posture.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership on the state of our information security program.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in information security roles, with a minimum of 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of developing comprehensive information security programs.
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management, and security operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
