Job Summary:
The Cybersecurity Director will spearhead and drive the sales strategy for cybersecurity solutions in the Indian market. This role entails building and maintaining relationships with key enterprise clients, developing strategic sales plans, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for cybersecurity solutions in India.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CISOs, CTOs, and other decision-makers, to promote cybersecurity solutions.
- Owning the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Conduct market research to identify client needs, assess competitor activities, and align solutions with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to design and present tailored cybersecurity solutions, demonstrating strong technical acumen to articulate complex solutions effectively.
- Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote cybersecurity solutions and generate leads.
- Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards while recording sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in cybersecurity sales or IT solution sales within India.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, preferably with a cybersecurity OEM or system integrator.
Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge with an in-depth understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including NGFWs, SIEM, cloud security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, and emerging technologies like AI-driven threat detection.
- Ability to discuss and demonstrate technical concepts, architectures, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, CERT-In, MITRE ATT&CK, and ISO 27001.
