Workday Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team at a senior level.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Owning the hire-to-retire lifecycle in Workday, ensuring seamless management from hiring to retirement within the platform.
  • Leading cross-functional efforts to drive Workday product launches, coordinating with various teams to guarantee successful deployments.
  • Elevating the employee experience and optimizing interactions with Workday, focusing on improving user efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Representing the Workday platform across the HR landscape, serving as the primary representative for Workday applications.
  • Partnering with business leaders and People Engineering teams to align on objectives and programs, ensuring goals and initiatives are aligned.
  • Overseeing the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday functionality, driving the entire process of developing and implementing new features.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience implementing or managing solutions in Workday, demonstrating extensive knowledge and expertise.
  • 4+ years of experience configuring Workday HCM, with proven functional experience, showcasing ability to configure complex systems.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting other Workday products (Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Learning), highlighting ability to support multiple modules.
  • Deep HR domain expertise and ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions, showcasing strong understanding of HR processes and technical implementation skills.
  • Able to thrive in a complex and technically ambiguous environment, displaying comfort navigating and succeeding in challenging environments.
  • A proactive focus on quality and execution in a move-fast culture, committing to quality and timely execution in fast-paced settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, emphasizing educational background in computer science.
  • Workday Pro certification in a relevant HCM track, highlighting certification in Workday Human Capital Management.
  • A Workday advocate capable of defining best practices and standardization in partnership with stakeholders, showcasing ability to promote best practices and standardization.
  • Sophisticated understanding of different integration technologies and custom tools leveraging Workday APIs, demonstrating advanced knowledge of integration technologies.
