Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Design Electrical Deputy Manager who will oversee the design of electrical systems for our projects. This role involves reviewing and approving designs from consultants, ensuring they meet local and international standards.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  1. Reviewing and approving design documents from service consultants to ensure compliance with local and international design standards, codes, and local authority requirements;
  2. Coordinating with other services such as HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting etc. to ensure smooth project execution;
  3. Managing resources and personnel to achieve project deliverables;
  4. Preparing and updating trackers, design compliance reports, and other project-related documentation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in electrical services in the MEP real-estate industry, Grade A developer in India, residential and commercial projects;
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage people positively;
  • Experience in space planning, schematic design, and coordination level understanding of other services;
  • Proficiency in working with Etap, Dilux software, and other relevant tools;
  • Good understanding of architectural and structural drawings and design intent;
  • Active participation in meetings and discussions with valid inputs;
  • Technical review of products for rate contract preparation;
  • Coordination with liaison departments for various activities;
  • Preparation and updating of tracker, design compliance reports, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
  • Professional certifications in electrical engineering, such as PE or LEED AP;
  • Relevant experience in MEP design and coordination, preferably with a Grade A developer in India;
  • Strong knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) software;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
