Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

Role Overview:

As a junior drafter in our mechanical design team, you will play a key role in supporting the creation of accurate technical drawings and layouts for components and assemblies used in pneumatic conveying systems and related equipment.

Working closely with experienced engineers, you will be responsible for preparing 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Solid Edge, converting design concepts into detailed manufacturing drawings, and maintaining drawing standards.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in mechanical drafting and contribute to the success of our engineering team.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models under supervision using AutoCAD and Solid Edge.
  • Convert design concepts and hand sketches into detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Update existing drawings based on engineering changes or feedback from production.
  • Maintain drawing standards and proper documentation.
  • Work closely with junior/senior engineers to understand project needs.
Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Draftsmanship or Engineering.
  • 0–2 years of experience in mechanical drafting.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Solid Edge or similar 3D tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of GD&T, mechanical components, and manufacturing basics.
