Job Opportunity

The job position is for a technical intern who will be working on research and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize AI/ML models under the guidance of senior researchers and engineers.
  • Implement and test algorithms in Python for various AI/ML applications.
  • Apply Data Structures and Algorithms concepts to optimize code efficiency.
  • Contribute to data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation pipelines.
  • Develop prototypes and POCs as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Python programming.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts including supervised and unsupervised learning, evaluation metrics, and model training/testing workflows.
  • Good grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • Familiarity with popular ML libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch is an asset.
  • Problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Final-year students, recent graduates, or postgraduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, AI & ML, or related disciplines.
  • Prior academic or project experience in AI/ML is desirable but not mandatory.

Internship Details

  • This internship will last for 6 months.
  • The selected candidate will be based at IIT Bombay Campus, Mumbai.
