Job Opportunity:

Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our analysis group, you will be responsible for building and updating financial models, performing valuations, and developing accurate assumptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct and refine financial models with scenario analysis, incorporating relevant drivers and assumptions.
  • Perform DCF, relative, SOTP, and other valuation methods to determine fair market value.
  • Develop and justify valuation assumptions with clear rationale.
  • Screen large datasets to identify potential investment opportunities and assist portfolio managers in their investment decisions.
  • Present and discuss investment ideas and stock updates with portfolio managers and chief investment officers.
  • Prepare comprehensive earnings reviews, preview earnings calls, attend management meetings, and create engaging presentations.
  • Develop compelling pitch notes and industry/thematic notes to support investment recommendations.
  • Manage databases to store and analyze data.
  • Collect and analyze news articles to inform investment decisions.
  • Respond to and complete ad hoc research requests as needed.

Client Communication:

Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and relationship-building.

Requirements:

  • Excellent financial modeling and research report-writing/presentation-making skills.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to identify key drivers and KPIs across various sectors.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, including effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in numerical analysis and complex model building.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
