We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Analytics Engineering team. As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with teams across the globe to design and build large scale real-time stream & batch data processing systems.

Our ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building innovative solutions. If you have experience with SQL and NoSQL DBs, as well as REST APIs, and enjoy working with distributed systems and streaming concepts, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build large scale real-time stream & batch data processing systems
  • Collaborate with engineering team and product management in an agile fast paced environment
  • Write unit and end-to-end tests for any code you develop
  • Own scalability, high availability, and data security for your services
  • Mentor other developers in best practices

Requirements:

">
  • 5+ years working experience
  • Proven record building ETL and Analytics applications
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, Java or similar
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL DBs, as well as REST APIs
  • Experience in modelling Data warehouses in BigQuery/RedShift
  • Experience working with DBT or Dataform for building pipelines
  • Experience building and embedding dashboards
  • Understanding of distributed systems and streaming concepts and principles
  • Capacity to pivot to new languages and frameworks
  • Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn new things and cutting-edge technology
