Key Responsibilities

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Murex professional to support the implementation, configuration and development of Murex systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Implementing and configuring Murex systems to meet business requirements;
  2. Developing new features and enhancements to existing Murex systems;
  3. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to Murex systems;
  4. Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements;
  5. Analyzing and making recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience;
  6. Following client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements;
  7. Supporting IT and business audits and technology risk assessments;
  8. Performing technical reviews of production changes;
  9. Writing clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within confluence;
  10. Maintaining and enhancing the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end of day batches;
  11. Dealing directly with business users across the bank including front, middle and back office, finance, product control and risk to analyze and diagnose business critical issues;
  12. Analyzing and resolving issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, reporting;
  13. Coordinating with vendors in testing fixes / solutions and providing detailed information about issues;
  14. Acting as an intermediary between business and vendor;
  15. Debugging and enhancing bespoke java processes supporting the Murex implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity;
  2. Strong technical capability;
  3. Solid understanding of DataMart.
