Job Overview:

The Apparel Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's product range by staying ahead of the curve on upcoming trends and collaborating with the buying team to select products.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research with your team, identifying emerging trends or styles that can enhance our product line through regular meetings and presentations of findings.
  • Compile comprehensive Market Benchmarking reports after visiting key locations, sharing them with the team for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with vendors to oversee sample development, ensuring consistency and quality across all products.
  • Obtain lab dip approvals for bulk production, guaranteeing compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop artworks for selected styles and coordinate with vendors to bring designs to life.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4-8 years of relevant work experience is required for this role.
  • Preferrably holding a degree from a reputable fashion institute such as NIFT or PEARL.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and other necessary software for creating CADs and illustrations.
