Job Title: Data Engineer for Next-Generation Data Platform

This is an exciting opportunity to join our elite team as a key member in the design and delivery of a next-generation data and analytics platform. As a technical engineer, you will be expected to demonstrate integrity, compassion, and a deep curiosity for solving complex problems in the healthcare industry.

  • You will collaborate with product owners, systems analysts, and software engineers to deliver against an agile roadmap and provide technical expertise in the design and delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • You will work with architects and other software engineers to evaluate functional and non-functional requirements and deliver solutions using Java, Azure, or AWS, Databricks, Spark, relational, and non-relational data storage, APIs.
  • You will design, develop, test, and maintain data-intensive applications, follow and improve processes for continuous delivery and DevOps within your team, and build and maintain software using configuration management and automation tools, deployment strategies/processes, monitoring tools.

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals with strong technical skills in designing and implementing Java-based applications, experience in Azure or AWS, Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, RESTful APIs, relational and non-relational database delivery, Agile Delivery, and DevOps Automation tools.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years designing and implementing Java-based applications
  • 1-2 years' experience in Azure or AWS
  • 1-2 years' experience in Databricks
  • 1-2 years' experience in Spark
  • 1-2 years' experience in Snowflake
  • Working knowledge of RESTful APIs
  • 2+ years of relational and non-relational database delivery
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile Delivery
  • 1+ years in DevOps Automation tools (Oozie, Python, Jenkins etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
