Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our products. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and developing innovative e-bike solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of automobile systems and EV-related systems, particularly 2-wheelers.
  • Integrate vehicle components and manage Engineering Bill of Materials (BoM) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
  • Lead the new product development cycle, ensuring timely completion and quality adherence.
  • Utilize Solid Works for part modeling, drafting, assembly, system layouts, and vehicle-level layouts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Solid Works is mandatory, along with hands-on experience in Part modelling, drafting, assembly, system layouts & vehicle level Layouts.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T for vehicle systems, materials, and material properties.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical requirements to cross-functional teams.
  • Benchmarking and coordination skills for DFM & DFA.

About You:

  • You have a strong background in mechanical engineering and design.
  • You're proficient in Solid Works and have experience working with various CAD software.
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • You're able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
