Supply Chain Strategist for Asia Pacific Region

This is a challenging role that requires a seasoned Supply Chain professional to oversee the demand planning process for Imerys' PMAPAC (Plastic, Adhesive, Rubber and Paints) and CERAMICS/Performance & Filtration Minerals business in North Asia, South East and South West Asia regions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the demand forecasting process, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information from Segment and finance, for multiple time horizons as per our pre-fixed timeline. This includes managing the PMAPAC local assets & trading S&OP cycle, running pre-S&OP meetings with operations planning teams and monthly S&OP meetings with executive decision-making teams.
In this role, you will work closely with Customer Service, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to determine external demand forecasts and generate interco demand sales forecasts. You will also analyze supply and demand issues, prepare data, metrics, and scenarios for S&OP meetings, and communicate key conclusions to stakeholders.
To be successful in this position, you must have at least 3-5 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields. A strong understanding of S&OP best practices, project management skills, analytical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of ERP systems like Accpac, SAP, or SAC is an added advantage.
