Key Accounting and Financial Role

We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

  • Explain and assist vendors and stakeholders with the accounts payable process
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Resolve any vendor payment queries and discrepancies in payment processes
  • Prepare payment record documents for audits

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com or CA Inter preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable and corporate finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and relevant laws
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, good communication and negotiation skills
  • Detailed-oriented individual with good critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with ability to work independently and handle stressful situations
  • Good time management and organizational skills
