We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps professional to join our team. As a Sr. Cloud Platform Automation specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the DevOps capability and managing small teams of engineers. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with program leads, technology architects, and data scientists across global locations.

In this role, you will be doing one or more of the following:

  1. Estimate for Cloud Platform automation and DevOps activities and build proposals that meet our goals.

  2. Plan and perform Infrastructure automation, Build, Deploy and Release automation on various Cloud platforms.

  3. Design and configure DevSecOps pipeline for various projects, working closely with our clients and project teams.

  4. Define, articulate, and evangelize Cloud Platform Automation activities that drive business growth.

  5. Mentor and guide fresh talent in the DevOps capability, helping them grow and develop their skills.

  6. Serve as a thought leader and SME for DevOps industry trends, new and existing technology offerings, and architectural concepts.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of different Cloud (Azure) IaaS services and platform, with a special focus on Network and Application security considerations.
  • Building and maintaining tools to automate application and infrastructure deployment and to monitor operations.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Bash, and Infrastructure as code automation using Terraform.
  • Strong experience with creating and modifying JSON configuration files, Terraform.
  • Strong implementation experience using Continuous Planning, Integration, and Deployment tools like Azure DevOps Toolchain, Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus, SonarQube, and Containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Kaniko, etc.
  • Good communication skills and ability to articulate technical issues/requirements.
  • Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions.
  • Fully understand system inter-dependencies and limitations.
  • Exert technical influence over multiple teams, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
  • Willingness to quickly upskill on new technologies, tools, and paradigms.
  • Desired Certifications: AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-400, AZ-500 (or equivalent), Hashicorp Associate Certified.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.
