Job Title: Social Media Editor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Editor to spearhead our digital presence across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Curate, create, and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to repurpose and promote news articles, opinion pieces, interviews, features, and multimedia content.
Audience Engagement:
  • Monitor social media channels for trending topics, breaking news, and reader engagement.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster a community around our social media presence, encouraging reader interaction and participation.
Analytics & Reporting:
  • Track and analyze key social media metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and traffic to the website.
  • Prepare regular reports on social media performance and provide actionable insights to the editorial team.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in social media management. Proficiency in social media management tools and knowledge of SEO best practices are required.
