Senior QA Automation Engineer Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced automation engineer to drive test development end-to-end, UI, APIs, and pipelines. As a key team member, you'll own the creation of automated tests, maintain their reliability, and ensure seamless delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive UI test workflows using Playwright
  • Explore AI-driven tools to enhance quality assurance processes
  • Automate backend/API testing with Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent
  • Design and implement smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, sanity checks
  • Integrate these tests into GitHub pipelines for continuous validation
  • Troubleshoot failing builds, isolate bugs, and document them efficiently
  • Maintain close collaboration with developers, product managers, and releases to stay ahead
  • Manage test data and environments effectively

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools
  • A solid understanding of API testing, version control, and the test lifecycle
  • Experience working with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) is beneficial
  • Prior exposure to testing AI/ML-based systems is a plus
