Production Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled production support specialist with a strong background in SQL, Unix, VB, Powerquery, and Python.

The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of experience in production support, handling complex technical issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tech Support: Provide direct technical assistance to business users at an L2 level, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Hands-on Experience: Utilize skills in SQL, Unix, VB, Powerquery, and Python to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Monitoring and Job Scheduling: Leverage expertise in monitoring and job scheduling tools like Control-M to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Incident Management: Implement incident management best practices to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • ServiceNow Expertise: Develop and maintain proficiency in ServiceNow or similar tools to streamline workflow and enhance user experience.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Possess knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and develop reports to meet these needs.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills to convey complex technical information to stakeholders.
  • Accountability Standards: Uphold high accountability standards, taking ownership of tasks and delivering results-oriented solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 9+ years of experience in production support.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL, Unix, VB, Powerquery, and Python.
  • Tools and Software: Proficiency in monitoring and job scheduling tools like Control-M and ServiceNow or similar tools.
  • Qualifications: Well-versed in basic support processes like incident management and regulatory reporting.
