Our team is seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Operations Specialist

This role is critical to our business, as it involves the processing and review of fixed income funds according to global standards. The specialist will play a vital part in the asset servicing-income verification value stream which validates the daily income of mutual funds in the US market.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work on income verification, including processing and review for US market events.
  • Become a subject matter expert of the process to guide the team, provide solutions, and handle escalations.
  • Calculate entitlements based on income parameters and process the requisite adjustments and possible ensuring market transactions in a timely and accurate manner for USIS funds.
  • Understand the pricing methodology of fixed income products.
  • Analyze the impact of securities trading suspension, delisting, and adjustment factors that impact the overall fund portfolio.
  • Reconcile income entitled and entitlement with custody payments.
  • Research and resolve breaks by identifying the root cause and solving them.
  • Perform intra-day checks and EOD checks and complete pending and elevated issues according to established procedures.
  • Assist in training new employees and act as a technical resource to the team.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and share them with management.

Required Skills:

  • Good communication, organization, problem-solving, analytical, and prioritization skills.
  • Team management skills.
  • Knowledge of securities markets.
  • Experience in accrual and amortization concepts and manual income calculations.
  • Working knowledge of E-Horizon services for fixed income funds.
  • Knowledge of trade lifecycle of a securities transaction across custody and clearing houses.
  • Knowledge of fixed income lifecycle.
  • Understanding of fixed income pricing and interest rate calculation.
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters for checking securities pricing, description, corporate action information, etc.
  • Experience in fund accounting with proven experience in fixed income processing.
