**Job Description:**

Software Quality Assurance Specialist Role

This position is ideal for a professional looking to advance their career in software testing and quality assurance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Your primary focus will be on achieving ServiceNow project delivery and customer satisfaction. To achieve this, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, implement testing strategies, and develop automated test scripts.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure software meets architectural requirements.
  • Prove scalability and performance of software through rigorous testing.
  • Own the formulation and implementation of software testing strategies.
  • Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of QA and QC principles, testing techniques, and methodologies.
  • Prepare detailed defect reports and track test progress.
  • Ensure visibility, traceability, and control of the testing process to deliver high-quality software.
  • Design, develop, and automate test scripts for software validation using automation tools or scripting languages.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Must have 5-8 years of post-graduate work experience as a QA Consultant with ServiceNow.
  • Proven experience and understanding of IT workflows (incident, problem, change) and participation in ServiceNow upgrades.
  • Participation in ServiceNow integrations and scoping efforts.
  • Previous experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Excellent knowledge in testing skills (design test plan, test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs).
  • Programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or Shell.
  • Hands-on experience with ATF module of ServiceNow.
  • Experience working in agile environments and wide range of Open-Source Software exposure.

**Qualifications and Certifications:**

  • Must have: IT Degree or relevant tertiary education in Computer Science and ServiceNow certifications like CSA.
  • Nice to have: ServiceNow Testing Micro-certification.
