We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support our team in Mumbai. The goal of this position is to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Average Daily Traded Volume (ADTV) data used in risk calculations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and verify ADTV time series data across various asset classes;
  • Identify potential errors or inconsistencies in the data, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve any issues;
  • Interpret complex data sets, analyze results, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner to inform business decisions;
  • Create and maintain data quality metrics and produce regular reports on key performance indicators;
  • Collaborate with Technology teams to develop requirements for data sourcing and remediation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives;

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM, Finance, or relevant field; and knowledge of market risk concepts and financial products across asset classes;
  • Experience with statistical analysis of large datasets, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment;

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Python programming language, particularly Pandas and Numpy libraries;
  • Familiarity with CFA/FRM certifications;

This role involves working closely with teams in New York, London, and India to drive improvements in data quality and risk management processes.
