Structural Steel Modeller/Checker Opportunity

Seeking an experienced structural steel modeler to work on dynamic projects with our organisation.

This role is ideal for candidates who have hands-on expertise in 3D modelling using Tekla software and a strong understanding of steel detailing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures software.
  • Interpret structural and architectural drawings to develop detailed models.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards (AISC knowledge is beneficial).
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure modelling accuracy.
  • Participate in model reviews and resolve clashes or design discrepancies.
  • Maintain project schedules and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: B.E. / Diploma / ITI in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in steel structural 3D modelling.
  • Software Expertise: Proficiency in Tekla Structures is mandatory, AutoCAD.
  • Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with AISC standards is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and handle multiple projects.
