Job Role Summary

  • HSE Manager
Responsibilities:

We are seeking a seasoned Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to oversee the development and implementation of our HSE management system. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HSE principles and practices.

The successful HSE Manager will be responsible for:

  • Fostering a strong safety culture within the organization by developing and implementing effective HSE policies and procedures;
  • Coordinating all HSE-related activities as a member of the site management team;
  • Monitoring and reporting on HSE performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement;
  • Developing and implementing risk assessments related to accidental incidents and pollution control;
  • Creating and maintaining training programs for employees on HSE best practices;
  • Promoting awareness and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless HSE operations;
  • Maintaining accurate records of HSE incidents and near-misses;
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and guidelines;
  • Providing guidance and support to employees on HSE matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in HSE management, preferably in an industrial setting;
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field;
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends;
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
